Wholesale

We ask for payment before your order ships. It's not because we don't trust you, but because we're a small family company. As a retailer, we hope you can appreciate our cash flow concerns.

You can pay by credit card or bank transfer. If anything about your order or payment looks off, give us a call at (405) 714-4714 or email us at hello@solidroots.com and a real person (probably Janet) will help sort it out.

We only sell wholesale to retailers who follow our Minimum Advertised Price. You'll find the MSRP for each of our games in the packet we send, and it matches what we charge at solidroots.com. (The packet also includes marketing materials, photos, and other extras.)

Big online retailers (you know who we're talking about) can afford to sell a game at a loss just to get you in the door. You, as the local neighborhood game shop, can't. MAP is how we keep the companies with the deepest pockets from pricing you out. We ask that you agree to this so that every other retailer in the program will agree to it for you! (We make board games. We think about fairness a lot.)

Advertising our games below MAP will force us to end your wholesale account. Planning a sale and not sure if it crosses a line? Shoot us a quick email before you post it. We'd much rather answer a quick question than close an account.

You're welcome to sell our games in your store and on your own website. What we ask is that you don't resell them on third-party marketplaces like Amazon, eBay, Etsy, or Walmart Marketplace.

We know that's where a lot of shoppers land when searching for, well, almost anything. But once our games land on a marketplace, we lose track of who's selling them, for how much, and whether that copy even came from us. Keeping them in your shops, and on your own sites, is how we make sure the customer gets what they expect and have a good experience.
